I Love A Good Story's Submission Guidelines

How to Perform at I Love A Good Story

If you'd like to perform at I Love A Good Story, please read our submission guidelines below and submit the required materials and information to our producer, Lauri Fraser, via email to the address: lauri@iloveagoodstory.com.

Submission Guidelines

1. We like stories that are true and personal. The stories don't have to be about you, although that's what we prefer. However, they should have affected you -- maybe even changed you -- in some way. We like stories that are funny, but we also like ones that have suspense, adventure, surprise, action and heart.
2. Stories should be around 7-8 minutes in length. At the absolutel most, please keep stories under 10 minutes when told (or read), including laughs and pauses.
3. How do you know if it's a good story that's worth telling? Simple. If you didn't know about yourself and you read your story, would it hold your interest? If so, send it to us!
4. Musicians, please send us a sample of your work, either via a link to somewhere online (this is the prefered method) or by attaching an MP3 file to an email. Songs performed at I Love A Good Story must be original material. If they happen to be funny, so much the better :)
